A Hidden Gem for Modern Art Aficionados

The Heong Gallery off Trumpington Street is Downing College’s best kept secret.

The gallery is named after art collector and college alumnus Alwyn Heong. It opened in spring 2016, and makes use of the college’s many alumni connections in the global art world to bring modern and contemporary art exhibitions to Cambridge.

Past exhibitions have included works by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei and illustrator Quentin Blake (another Downing alumnus).
