Concierge (with Doorman & Valet duties)

You will welcome guests on arrival, help them to their rooms, manage any requests from guests by liaising with relevant colleagues. You will build your knowledge of what Cambridge has to offer in respect of restaurants, shops, services and experiences in order to be able to make recommendations to guests. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and other public areas.

You will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering a memorable experience to your guests.


Reception Team Members

Our Reception team is made up of service-focused individuals who take pride in being the face of this exceptional property, who build relationships with regular guests and ensure that expectations are surpassed time after time.

You will be providing a friendly & courteous welcome to all guests arriving to the lobby, processing guest check-in and check-outs, dealing with phone and email requests, whilst liaising with your colleagues in all departments of the hotel. You will anticipate guests’ needs and always be looking to exceed expectations in everything you do.

Previous reception, Opera and MARSHA experience are all desirable


Housekeeping Team

We are always on the lookout for exceptional Room Attendants to cover various shifts over a 7 day period. Previous housekeeping experience is extremely useful but individuals who want to start their career in this area can be given training. Night Cleaner and Linen Porter positions may also available


Night Porters

This key position is responsible for assisting in the management of the hotel operation whilst our guests are sound asleep.

The Night Porter plays a vital role in delivering an excellent guest experience to all our guests, as a true ambassador of the hotel you are committed to consistently delivering high standards of service.

You will assist the Night Manager and Night Auditor, welcoming late-arriving guests in the appropriate manner, verifying guests accounts, running required reports and dealing with all other aspects of the night service in the hotel


We’ve temporarily closed our doors to do our bit for the community, but that doesn’t mean we’ve gone away!

We are busy maintaining Cambridge’s leading hotel, behind closed doors, so that it is even better when we reopen them. Our reservations team remain open for business, and will do so throughout this period, and are there right now to assist you and to take your future bookings.
