Magic and Mayhem at Cambridge University Botanic Garden

Cambridge University Botanic Garden: Magic and Mayhem. 13th November-23rd December.

Visit the Botanic Garden this winter for their Magic and Mayhem event to find unexpected, fun surprises scattered around the garden as some mischievous elves have sprinkled seasonal fun around the 40 acre landscape.

Also find the Winter Garden and the Scented Garden here, and if you’re lucky you may spot one of the foxes that are living in the garden currently!

The Botanic Garden’s Director, Beverley Glover says: “Magic and Mayhem is all about having some light hearted, festive fun with family and friends over the Christmas period. Visitors will discover that some elves have paid us a visit and transformed various parts of the Garden with a sprinkle of magic, mixed with a hint of mayhem! I hope everyone will enjoy the magic that’s been created!”

A free map and colouring in activity will be available from the ticket offices.

There is also a yellow ribbon memorial installation in the garden for visitors to tie a yellow ribbon to remember a loved one, a sign of sympathy and solidarity.
