Megan Rooney: Echoes & Hours Exhibition

Coming to Kettle's Yard, this is the first major solo exhibition in the UK of work by Megan Rooney (b. 1985, South Africa). Her paintings have an irresistible life and energy, renewing the potential of abstraction to embody the richness of the visual world. In June 2024, Rooney will spend three weeks making a new ‘mural’, painting directly on the walls of one of Kettle’s Yard’s two galleries. In the other gallery a group of new paintings will be exhibited for the first time.

Cambridge Folk Festival

Visit the Cambrigde Folk Festival this year for the perfect family-friendly weekend. Mini Ceramic Pinch Pots with Daniela Stief

Wednesday 24th July, 6:30-7:30pm. £30 per person, David Parr House.

Join ceramic artist, Daniela Stief to make patterned pinch pots and dishes with glazed glass interiors. In this workshop, you will learn how to hand build with clay using a pinching technique creating three different pinch pots from two different clays.

Flying Days: The Americans
