A Conversation with Jo Browning Wroe
Join us in our library at 7pm on Wednesday 9th November, when guests can meet Jo Browning Wroe, a bestselling novelist, Creative Writing Supervisor at Lucy Cavendish College and a Cambridge resident. Her debut novel was published by Faber & Faber in January. Come and hear about her journey of life on the road with her tender and moving debut novel, A Terrible Kindness, which tells the captivating and compassionate story of nineteen-year-old William Lavery’s decision to volunteer at the tragic scene of the 1966 Aberfan landslide which transforms his life forever.
