To our valued partners,

We are incredibly excited that University Arms will reopen its doors on the 17th of May. While we may have been closed for the past few months, we have not been sitting idle.

The team have been working hard to implement a new standard of cleanliness and putting various safety procedures in place, to ensure the health and wellbeing of both you, our guest, and our team members. We have a nominated Cleanliness Champion, who has put together a detailed hygiene plan and rolled out a series of detailed COVID-19 enhanced cleaning trainings. Safety and wellbeing of our team – additional sinks and sanitising stations have been installed in our back of house areas and all team members will have their temperatures read on arrival to their shift. As a newly refurbished hotel, all of our public areas have windows that can open, as well as all of our bedrooms, allowing free movement of fresh air. See below for further details on these new measures, that I hope will ease your mind and build your confidence that we are ready to welcome you back to Cambridge for the seamless University Arms stay you have come to expect. While we all get used to our ‘new normal’, you should have the comfort of knowing that great hospitality and delivering a world class guest experience remains at the heart of our brand promise. I look forward to welcoming you back to University Arms soon. Ian James

  • Additional PPE, including amenities such as hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes, will also be available for any of our guests, should they wish to use it.
