Our suites, all with very different personalities, are named after Cambridge-affiliated authors and alumni and are individually curated around their namesakes.

Light and breezy with views of the city out onto Parker's Piece, all suites have a relaxed, residential feeling. Hints of Cambridge blue, yellow and red enliven each space while some are paired with a traditional bookcase room divider, helping to retain a classically Cambridge feel.

Can I fit a cot or extra bed in a Suite?

Yes you can. Our Suites offer some of the most generous accommodation at University Arms, with spacious sitting areas and plenty of room to settle in. If you’re travelling with a baby or child and require a cot or extra bed, please let our team know when booking so we can recommend the most suitable Suite and sleeping arrangements for your stay.

Do all Suites have a bath and a shower?

Yes. Every Suite has a spacious bathroom with both a walk-in rain shower and a large claw-foot bathtub, along with D R Harris grooming essentials and wonderfully soft towelling robes. So whether you prefer a quick shower before heading into Cambridge or a long soak at the end of the day, you’ll have both.

Do the Suites overlook Parker’s Piece?

Our Suites enjoy wonderful views out across Parker’s Piece, giving you one of the most quintessentially Cambridge outlooks in the hotel. For something extra special, choose one of our Terrace Suites and enjoy the view from your own private outdoor space.

Are University Arms Suites dog-friendly?

Yes. Our Suites are dog-friendly, so your four-legged companion can join you for a stay in Cambridge too. Please let us know that you’ll be bringing a dog when booking so our team can make sure everything is ready for your arrival.

What is the difference between a Suite and a Terrace Suite?

All our Suites offer generous sitting areas, individually curated interiors and views across Parker’s Piece. A Terrace Suite adds a private outdoor space – the perfect perch for a morning coffee while taking in the view across one of Cambridge’s most famous green spaces.
