41st Cambridge Film Festival

Cambridge Film Festival returns with a first-rate programme for its 41st outing.

The third-longest running film festival in the country, the Cambidge Film Festiva, returns to the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse from the 20-27th October. The programme includes 87 titles from 34 countries.

This year's offering includes the wildly satirical Palme D'Or winner, TRIANGLE OF SADNESS; Berlin International Film Festival Golden Bear Winner, the beautifully poignant ALCARRÀS; and the openingnight film, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, a side-splitting comedy that was nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival where it received a full 13-minute standing ovation, it’s also been tipped for an Oscar by many.

The 41st Cambridge Film Festival is about new beginnings. Last year was about celebrating the history of the Cambridge Film Festival and being back in the cinema after a year away. Now we look forward. Taking what people love about the Festival, award-winning films, discovery titles, director Q&As and our passionate love of cinema, building on those principles by bringing new voices and fresh perspectives. There is a diverse programme on offer that organisers promise is suitable for all tastes and ages, from thrillers and horror to romance and comedy.
