A Conversation with Professor Krauss and Dr Phillipa Malmgren

Join us in our library as we welcome Professor Lawrence Krauss and Dr Phillipa Malmgren who will be discussing The Known Unknowns: The Unsolved Mysteries of the Cosmos in which he explores the five fundamental mysteries at the forefront of science today: Time, Space, Matter, Life and Consciousness.

Lawrence Krauss is an internationally known theoretical physicist and the author of the New York Times bestselling books, The Physics of Star Trek and A Universe from Nothing, and, most recently, the Physics of Climate Change. He has made significant contributions to our understanding of the universe and has received numerous awards for his research and writing. He is currently President of the Origins Project Foundation and host of The Origins Podcast with Lawrence Krauss.

D Phillipa Malmgren is an American technology entrepreneur and economist. She served as Special Assistant to the President of the University States, George W. Bush, for Economic Policy on the National Economic Council. Dr Malmgren is the author of Geopolitics for Investors, Signals: How Everyday Signs Help Us Navigate the World's Turbulent Economy, The Leadership Lab (winner of the 2019 Business Book of the Year Award) and The Infinite Leader (winner of the 2021 International Press Award for Best Book on Leadership).
