Cambridge Standing Tall

Cambridge Standing Tall, 21 March - 2 June 2024

After the success of Cows about Cambridge in 2021, Break, together with delivery partners Wild in Art are bringing a brand-new sculpture trail to the streets of Cambridge from 21 March – 2 June 2024.

This Spring, Cambridge will play host to the gentle giants of the African plains, as 31 beautifully decorated giraffe sculptures gallop onto the city’s streets! Alongside them will be over 60 mini giraffes, each created by local schools and community groups. This towering sculpture trail will bring together communities from all corners of the city, and encourage them to look up at the spectacular art on offer while supporting Break, a charity working in Cambridge and Cambridge to raise aspirations of the county’s young care leavers. We hope as you gaze up at the giraffes you see them as we do - a representation Break, standing tall for young people with care experience and telling them that the sky is never the limit.
