Our picture of the week is from Georgina Barclay, co-founder of the gallery artEast. Barclay's story started with being trained in the classical method and style of the Renaissance masters in Florence, combining this with her love of colour and a contemporary freedom of brushwork.

Her work, which includes commissions of the Royal Family, comprises of portraiture, landscape and still life.

Georgina's work will be presented as part of a two day pop-up, celebrating East Anglian art at our central Cambridge hotel on the 26th and 27th August titled:

In the Frame: University Arms summer art pop-up.
