An unforgettable day of expert talks and an exclusive flying display celebrating the iconic Spitfire and its enduring legacy.

Just over 90 years ago, on 5 March 1936, the Supermarine Spitfire took to the skies for the very first time. This summer, mark the anniversary of one of aviation's greatest legends with a unique event at IWM Duxford.

The Spitfire remains the only aircraft to have been built before, throughout and after the Second World War. Across the day, discover the remarkable evolution of this legendary fighter through three distinctive aircraft, from the early Merlin-powered Spitfires that defended Britain during the Battle of Britain to the powerful Rolls-Royce Griffon variants that extended the aircraft's service and performance into a new era.

Hosted by renowned Spitfire historian Paul Beaver, the event will take place in a private marquee overlooking IWM Duxford's historic airfield. Every guest will also receive an exclusive commemorative Spitfire coin to mark the occasion.
