For over five decades, the Brodsky Quartet has been celebrated as one of the world's most distinguished chamber ensembles. Since 1972, they have captivated audiences with thousands of performances across the globe and built an extensive discography of more than 60 recordings. Their adventurous spirit and commitment to artistic collaboration have shaped a career that continually pushes the boundaries of the string quartet repertoire.
This unique concert brings together music and poetry in an inspiring exploration of two iconic composers. Acclaimed poet Ruth Padel presents readings inspired by Beethoven, woven around the composer's final masterpiece, while Michael Morpurgo's reflections on the changing seasons complement the timeless brilliance of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. Together, these powerful pairings offer a fresh perspective on some of classical music's most enduring works.
