Discover the creative possibilities of woodcut printmaking in this intimate workshop set within the inspiring surroundings of David Parr House. As well as learning a traditional printmaking technique, you'll have the chance to explore the house's extraordinary decorative interiors, offering plenty of inspiration along the way.
Guided by artist and printmaker Alex Booker, you'll be introduced to the essentials of woodcut printing, from developing an idea and carving your block to pulling your own hand-printed impressions. Suitable for beginners, the session encourages experimentation and creativity, with everyone leaving with a collection of original prints.
