Cambridge hotel named one of Time Magazine’s top 100 places to visit in the WORLD

It might not be a traditional wonder of the world – but we think it’s pretty special. Forget the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids and the Colosseum – we’ve got one of the world’s greatest places to visit on our back door step. The University Arms hotel, on Regent Street was named on the Time Magazine list of 100 global destinations which are recommended for a visit. Nominations for the list cover a range of categories, including museums, parks, restaurants and hotels – and are made by the magazine’s editors and correspondents, as well as industry experts. They are then evaluated based on key factors including quality, originality, sustainability, innovation and influence.

University Arms general manager Ian James said: “I couldn’t be prouder of the team at University Arms. “It is because of their dedication and hard work that we have achieved this accolade and we are honoured to be listed as one of the World’s Greatest Places by TIME Magazine. “Although we have only been open for a year, I am thrilled to see we have made such an impact already and look forward to seeing what we can achieve in the future.”
