To celebrate its first birthday, the University Arms and Parker’s Tavern in Cambridge, are offering guests discounted rooms and the opportunity of a complimentary cocktail.

The official reopening of historic hotel University Arms and restaurant Parker’s Tavern in August 2018, was one of the biggest launches in the city for years. In order to celebrate its first birthday, the hotel and restaurant will be treating guests to a series of special offers and benefits throughout the month of August 2019.

For one month only, guests can book one of the Martin Brudnizki, playfully designed rooms for just £111 per night, as well as the hotel’s suites from £365 per night, in honour of the number of days the hotel has been open. Additionally, all hotel guests will be welcomed with special surprise birthday amenities in their rooms.

The celebrations continue at the hotel’s restaurant and bar, Parker’s Tavern. Anyone dining at the restaurant that shares an August birthday, will be gifted a signature ‘Bloomsbury Boozer’ cocktail. The Bloomsbury Boozer is one of the bar’s most popular cocktails, made from Botanist gin, elderflower cordial, lemon raspberries and topped with a party hat of delicious raspberry foam – the perfect celebratory drink. Parker’s Tavern is headed up by Chef Tristan Welch and is a quintessentially British tavern, serving creative twists on traditional dishes, made from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
